When you open up a bag of cinnamon, you would expect to be hit with this wonderful aroma, however when this 1kg bag of cinnamon arrived, there was nothing. Now this could have been due to the way this was packaged. It's bagged tightly in a net and then was kept in a standard bag which has holes poke through, which could have aired the product. Anyhow, I stored this in an air-tight container now, but the next day would still expect to get a nice aroma upon opening, but it's lost all of this. Despite this I decided to add this to my curry. Normally when I break the sticks, I would be able to both detect the scent, but I had to try really hard to smell it and it was very simple-like cinnamon. I feel that these may have been really good as this is my first time of using cinnamon where it's disappointed me on how strong this is and simply due to the way it was packed.
